How are Ivriyahs willing?
As Ivriyahs, our concept of willingness comes from the scriptures and is deeply connected to the idea of service, obedience, and surrender to The Most High Yah’s will. Being willing is about having the readiness to act, and a disposition of the heart that is eager to follow Yah’s commandments, laws, and statutes, and fulfill His purposes for our lives.
Here are some scriptures below that reference willingness:
Isaiah 1:19: If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.
2 Corinthians 8:12: For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
1 Chronicles 29:9: Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to Yahuah: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
When we surrender our will to Yah’s will, we not only become obedient, but also trustworthy as well as transformed with increased discernment and intimate guidance from Yahuah Elohiym Ruach.
There are some diligent ways to captivate willingness such as engaging in prayer on the regular with transparent communication unto the Most High Yah. By spending time in the Word, we seek an understanding of Yah’s Character and His will to reflect those characteristics. Reflect and meditate on areas of your life that could be resistant to Yah’s will so we as Ivriyahs can consider the changes we need to surrender to His will. Take action on Yah’s commands by keeping the commandments and releasing the desire to control by being open to Yah’s direction for our lives.
Next, let go of the need for control, fear, or plans and create a community where we can offer and receive prayer, support, and further guidance to seek Yah’s will through willing servitude to others.
